Flood Damage

The church we attend, Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian church in Roslyn, WA, experienced serious flood damage on January 7, 2009, after water rushed down from the ridge. As of today the building, along with the parsonage, have been condemned and we are not allowed into the building until it can be stabalizied. Fortunately the church had flood insurance and we will have assistance in getting the church restored.

Neil & Joe Turner had to 'shore up' the main floor to prevent it from crumbling. You can see the destruction from the flood.

The next morning after the flood (this was before it was condemned), Neil & I, along with Beth Matanich, spent the morning going through the basement mud trying to retrieve anything that might be salvaged. We were a dirty mess when we finished.

The blog looks great!! You did a great job! I hope the church gets as much salvaged as possible and the foundation gets redone. The Lord definitely works in mysterious ways though, doesn't he? Love ya..
